Week 8

Team F - 50
Team B - 47

With our two big men out (Oly - knee injury; Will - unknown), Team F resorted to a fast-paced offense and solid zone defense to take out a fiesty Team B. It was a battle, but we never surrendered the lead. Everyone played well, as usual.

Record: 5-2
Next opponent: Team E

Week 6

Team F - 56
Team C - 27

Team F delivered another dominating performance over a winless Team C. Our new zone defense is shaping up, and our offense is clicking. Team F has a two-week break (with a bye next week) heading into the All-Star Weekend. It looks like Team F will stand at 3rd place in the standings at the mid-season, so the second half will be everything, with two games against not-yet-played Team B as well as big matchups against A and D.

Matthew Olander was scheduled to appear in the QAC All-Star slam dunk contest, but will not make the trip to the All-Star Weekend in Brockton due to a knee injury. Ryan and Greg Hamblett are pencilled into the 3-point competition in front of their home crowd. In a league first, every member of Team F was voted onto the East All-Star team, but all have declined in order to rest up for the second half of the season.
